It’s not social safety nets, it’s the economy. Folks can fend for themselves with half a chance. Taxing the middle class to pay for benefits for the middle class is not a path to success.
Time for Canada to go to the bargaining table with Trump to work out a fair trade agreement.
Maybe if people weren't taxes so much, and there weren't so many people buying in the market while being government parasites who don't contribute, then the income level might match the cost of living.
Don't worry though; if you can't afford life anymore, they'll put you down like a dog for free.
