I've never used Apple maps because they're been innacurate, whereas Google maps have been reliable because they're regularly updated and linked to transport services. So Apple would create another barrier to using its maps.
That's at least better. I swear, spotify ads are actually dangerous. I shouldn't be touching it while I drive. But's even more dangerous when ads give it an inconsistent interface where you can be gotcha'd on what you are clicking on.
I have some bad driving habits. But spotify premium is basically selling a safer interface without admitting that.

Imagine you are trying to drive, and an ad for a business near by pops-up on your screen so you can't read the map.
It sounds like it's more just location-based placement when searching for things like restaurants.
