Who needs a draft when we can give illegal immigrants 5 years in the military in exchange for their citizenship for them and their family and move their family on base.
I wonder if either party would go for that. The Republicans wouldn't want to grant citizenship under any case. The Democrats wouldn't want to tie it to an obligation. And the Libertarians if they ever took office wouldn't want to grow the military.
Maybe that's a compromise that's too reasonable for any party.
