The owner of this place really fucked himself over but good.

Dropped by Hilton. So now he has no reservation system. And no brand name. And he is too toxic to be picked up by any national chain…who’s going to take that chance?

He has lost government business too. Not good, You lose your customers one at a time….who else sees this and decides they no longer want to do business here.

If the government was, on average, occupying just one $125/night room every day of the year, that is $46,000/year of lost income.

If the owner trys to sell out, he’ll get butt raped in the process. He’s damaged his business as a going concern…he’ll pay.

Go woke, go broke. When will they ever learn? Asks the guy with an MBA.

This country really needs freedom of association and disassociation. What ever happened to not being required to quarter troops? He's the property owner. If he doesn't want government workers staying there that is the most American thing ever.

Being able to be punished for excercising a right means it never was a right. Not quartering who you want while that is a government worker is one of the most classic rights.

This isn’t about “rights.” It’s about “business.”

This moron probably cost himself $500,000 (guesstimate) in business (even more if he tries to sell the place). He is within his rights to make a very stupid and costly BUSINESS decision.

Other individuals, organizations and businesses are also within our rights to find another vendor. Because we have the same “freedom of association and disassociation.” This guy is toxic now.

The hospitality BUSINESS is extremely competitive. Choosing who you associate with, to the exclusion of others will cost you big time.

I worked in the very competitive commodities BUSINESS for my career. Specifically in petroleum refining for a big oil company. Could you imagine what our stupidity would cost us if we started questioning the politics of folks pulling up to our pumps then turning them away? It would be a giveaway to our competitors. Which is what is happening to this hotel moron

Business and political stunts don’t mix…GO WOKE, GO BROKE. Said the guy with the MBA.
