(I'm somewhat serious even. Sticking to a structure for the sake of aesthetics is pointless. This is epitomized in introductions that simply describe the scope of the article. They just waste readers' time but they're included because, as a writer, it's awkward to just jump right into the material. This is why articles submitted to forums are often better because those do away with all fluff.)
