Is there a rise in mental health issues or a rise in concern about mental health issues? It's like saying there is a rise in disease during covid. Someone was definately saying it.
Was the mindless watching of TV prior generations did any better? It was an even harder trap into pacivity than what we have today. The important thing for your mental health is to never become a zero sunlight person. Being indoors 100% of the time is what's really bad for your mental health. So if any combo of work, tv, and social media can get you there you aren't going to be doing great. But they are all equally bad if they can eclipse your life enough to get you there.
